Car Insurance Jaguar (Car Insurance). Is driving with two feet a bad idea?

Is driving with two feet a bad idea? I'm 18, and I'm taking my Drivers Test tomorrow. I've been practicing with two feet and I've been doing really well I don't get mixed up at all, but will the DMV instructor mark me down?

U will fail instantly if the vehicle is not manual with a stick and a clutch that is the only time u should drive with two feet and the reason they will fail you is cuz if you were to panic and something were to happen instead of hitting the brake u can hit the gas which will make things worse good luck on your test for sure. the area under there wasnt made to have two feet real close to each other like you are doing. i would just go with one no Yes! It's highly discouraged. I'm pretty sure it was in my drivers ed manual not to drive with two feet. And please don't be a two-footed driver. They are the worst. Constantly tapping the brakes just enough to make the brake lights come on. It's not hard to drive with one foot. Really. Ehh....there's nothing wrong with it, and I dont think your driving teacher would mark it against you, but its probably not the best habit to be in in case you ever had to slam on the break. That's why its good to have one foot free. yeah.......oh yeah why they DON'T WANT people to use two feet is because you will mixs them up at one point and when you do, well lets just say don't use two feet yes.. your only suposed to use one foot. to solve this tie a knot in your left shoe lace and throw it out the door. it might take time to get used to it. i had the same problem.. my drivers ed intructor was always like "get that foot outa there..." yes and no. Yes you can use both feet while driving but only in emergency and only on cars with manual gear transmission. In emergency you can move from high gear to lower gear to reduce speed/acceleration while breaking at the same time. I call it arresting the engine but it may do 3 damages to your car; knock your engine, damage gear teeth/system or chop off part of your tyres if done properly. On manual transmission, your instructor won't mark you down. If they notice, then yes they will. I can guarantee you will fail your drivers test. Your knowledge of car driving is very poor. Whoever taught you has done you no favours at all

Is there such a thing as a "commander" as part of a flight crew? I was on a flight the other day and the flight attendant introduced the pilot as "commander" so-and-so. I've never heard that before, I thought there were only captains and first officers. Was the flight attendant just being smart? She said it in a very serious, professional tone which made me think there might acutally be such a rank. car insurance.

Jaguar . what can be wrong with the car?

what can be wrong with the car? so the car is a 2002 Chrysler PT cruiser. about a month ago the car started making weird sound like a squeal. i could also see steering fluid coming out the reservoir cap. the noise would only happen when the steering wheel was moved. when we would turn it to the extreme right or left the noise would stop and the steering would be working properly. so about a week ago the noise got really loud and suddenly the steering wheel got really really stiff. so i was told that the pump when out. so i spent all day yesterday and today replacing the pump. put everything back together and when ahead with bleeding the air out of the power steering fluid. the steering was fine but the noise still remained. so i took it to an autozone and used a vacuum pump to try and suck out all the air in the system. didnt help, the noise remained. so i drove it home and in only 1 turn did the steering get really stiff again but right away when back to normal. at home i tried turning the wheel back and forth trying to get the air out of the system and then all of a sudden it got really stiff again. someone suggested that i put the car on jacks and try to get the air out of the system. while on the jacks the wheels turned very smooth and i could see some air coming out of the reservoir. but as soon as i lowered it back on the ground the steering wheel was still super stiff. any advice or help would be appreciated. car insurance.

Jaguar . How to Check Transmission Fluid on 1998 Pontiac Sunfire

The 1998 Sunfire is a compact vehicle designed and manufactured by Pontiac. The 1998 Sunfire came equipped with an automatic transmission or a manual transmission. The transmission fluid lubricates the gears, ensuring that the transmission and the vehicle run smoothly and efficiently. You should check the fluid every time you change the oil to ensure that your Sunfire has an adequate level of transmission fluid. Whether you have a manual or an automatic transmission, checking the fluid is fairly straightforward.
Difficulty:Moderately Easy
Instructions Things You'll Need
Rag
Long-neck funnel
Transmission fluidAutomatic Transmission

Step by Step :
1
Allow the Sunfire to cool for 30 minutes. Engage the parking brake. Turn the engine on and place the vehicle in "Park."
2
Move the shifter into each gear and pause for three seconds in each gear. End the shift in "Park." Allow the engine to idle for five minutes.
3
Open the hood of the Sunfire and locate the red ring attached to the transmission fluid dipstick. Pull the dipstick out and wipe it clean with a rag. Push the dipstick back into the reservoir, making sure it is seated all the way. Wait three seconds. Pull the dipstick out.
4
Read the fluid measurement by examining both sides of the dipstick. If the level is adequate, the fluid will be in the cross-hatched section. If that's the case, replace the dipstick and close the hood of the Sunfire. If the level is low, add fluid.
5
Place a long-neck funnel into the reservoir and add half a pint of transmission fluid. Recheck the fluid level. Continue this process until the fluid level is in the cross-hatched section. Push the dipstick all the way in and close the hood.
Manual Transmission

Step by Step :
1
Place the Sunfire in first gear and turn the engine off. Ensure that the vehicle cools long enough that the transmission case is cool enough to touch.
2
Open the hood of the Sunfire and locate the manual transmission dipstick. Look below the brake master cylinder, near the rear of the transmission case. Flip the handle up to access the dipstick. Pull the dipstick straight out and wipe it with a rag. Insert the dipstick back into the reservoir.
3
Remove the dipstick and read the fluid level. An adequate fluid level will measure be between the "add" and "full" markings. If the fluid is in the appropriate level, replace the dipstick and flip the handle closed.
4
Use a long-neck funnel to add fluid to the reservoir through the dipstick hole. Only add about a half pint at a time, as overfilling can cause transmission damage. Recheck the transmission fluid levels. Continue this process until the fluid is in an acceptable range. Close the hood of the vehicle.

Jaguar . How to Check Transmission Fluid in a 2003 Toyota Camry

Frequent checks of your Camry's automatic transmission fluid will go a long way toward protecting the vehicle's long-term viability. The transmission allows the Camry to seamlessly switch gears, and the fluid does part of the work. The process of checking your car's automatic transmission fluid isn't hard. The transmission's dipstick will tell you the level of fluid and give an idea of how much is needed. Transmission fluid should lie at or somewhat above the "FILL" arrow, located near the bottom end of the dipstick.
Difficulty:Moderately Easy
Instructions Things You'll Need
Transmission fluid

Step by Step :
1
Park your car on level ground and unlatch the hood. Get out of the car while allowing it to run for a few minutes. You'll want to check your Camry's transmission fluid with the engine running, the transmission in "Park" and the engine and transmission warm.
2
Open and secure the hood of the car. Locate the transmission dipstick located in front of the Camry's engine.
3
Pull the dipstick and wipe it clean with a rag. Place it back in the transmission, seat it fully, and remove it once more, this time checking for levels.
4
Pour fluid directly into the hole where you pulled the dipstick if the oil level was below the "FILL" line. Use a funnel. Estimate how much to pour based on your reading, but you should never need to add more than a quarter of a bottle.
5
Replace the dipstick and close the hood once you've determined the transmission has the right amount of fluid.

reassemble the carburetor can be very difficult. An easier — and probably cheaper — way to deal with the problem yourself is to replace the carburetor with a new or rebuilt model, following the instructions later in this chapter. Checking your accelerator pump If your vehicle hesitates when you step on the gas pedal, your accelerator pump may not be working properly. Here's how the accelerator pump causes your car to speed up when you step on the gas pedal: When you step on the pedal, a rod connecting the pedal to a little lever, called the accelerator pump arm, which is located on the outside of the carburetor, pushes on a little piston .Chapter 13: Keeping Your Fuel System in Tune 27 7 inside the carburetor, which squirts a little extra fuel into the carburetor venturi. (See Figure 13-10.) That extra fuel creates a richer fuel/air mixture, which provides the extra power for acceleration. If your accelerator pump isn't working properly, your carburetor probably needs to be rebuilt or replaced. 626 Car Insurance 2009 subaru impreza 25ipremiumsedan4d 475844

accelerator pump arm to see how freely it moves. (The arm is the little lever, not the big one; that's the throttle.) If the lever doesn't move, try pushing it with your finger. If it still doesn't move, it may be caught on something. Try bending it a little to clear the obstruction. If the accelerator pump arm moves freely when someone steps on the gas pedal, take a look down the carburetor barrel to see whether fuel is squirting in when the accelerator pump arm moves. If there's no fuel action, the carburetor probably needs to be rebuilt (which involves taking it apart, cleaning it, and replacing various parts) or replaced. If you need a new carburetor, you may be just as well off getting a cheaper, rebuilt one. The sections "Installing a New or Rebuilt Carburetor" and "What to Do When All Else Fails," later in this chapter, provide your alternatives. Adjusting your accelerator pump arm Some accelerator pumps have more than one hole where the arm hooks up, to enable you to adjust the arm. Adjusting for a shorter stroke (so that the arm moves a shorter distance) gives you a leaner mixture of fuel and air; a longer stroke gives you a richer one. If your accelerator pump arm is moving O 7C Part III: Keeping Your Car in Good Condition, System by System when the gas pedal is stepped on, and fuel is squirting into the venturi when the arm is pushed, but you're still having acceleration problems, try adjusting the arm for a longer stroke. Follow these steps to check the speed at which your engine idles. If it's idling too fast or too slow, the next section has instructions for adjusting the mechanisms that control it: 1. Hook a tach/dwell meter to the distributor. See the section "Checking your distributor with a dwell meter" in Chapter 12 for details. (A plain tachometer will do, but a dwell meter without a tachometer is useless here.) 2. Remove the air cleaner, following the instructions given earlier in this chapter. 3. With the emergency brake on and the car in Park or Neutral, start the car and let it run until the engine is hot and the butterfly valve on the choke is fully open. 4.
